5-Second Films: 20 Best!

The rules are simple:

  • 2 seconds of beginning titles
  • 5 seconds of film
  • 1 second of end titles
If you take umbrage with these 5sfs running at an actual length of 8 seconds, we can only assume you're no fun at dinner parties.

At least those be the rules according to Brian Firenzi, creator of the on-going project, 5-Second Films.

5-Second Films was created by Brian “Boss Man” Firenzi in the Spring of 2005, after being disappointed by so many 5,400-second films. ...Onward, backstory-craver! And watch out for meeps!

Yes, onward! And enjoy these Top 20 5sfs!

Happy Wednesday: Day Late, Dollar Short Edition

I've featured Christina Hendricks here before, but there's never enough photos of that ginger beauty! I would have posted this Wednesday, but it was not a very happy Wednesday for me. Just to mention it briefly, I had applied for a PhD program in psychology at the University and found out that I was not one of the chosen. Bummed me a bit, but we pick ourselves up and keep going.

Which brings me to what everyone is here for, right? So, from Unreality Magazine, I present the beautiful Christina Hendricks!

Hold Your Horses!

Do you like art? At all? Okay, if you don't like art, you've probably had to at least take some sort of art appreciation class sometime in your education history, so I know you'll recognize quite a few of these art pieces! The band Hold Your Horses! has just thrown a twist on a classic! Great music and very clever.

Free RPG Game Day 2010!

Since I've been up here in the grand land of Fayetteville (Northwest Arkansas), I have made some contacts and friends up at the hobby/gaming store Castlehouse Games. While gaming and buying board games, books, and dice (always need more dice), I have spoken off and on and even gamed with the owner Chris. He's a great guy and truly has a passion for games of any flavor. On top of that, he knows his stuff and can answer most questions or find the answer (suprising how many store owners don't care enough to do that). Anyway, Chris is not without his faults, but he's new to retail and is learning along the way a very steep learning curve.

I mention him only to say that I have recently approached him about Free RPG day and I am excited that he has ordered supplies and we are all set for Free RPG Day 2010 at Castlehouse! If you're reading this and are going to be in the Fayetteville area on June 19, 2010, then stop by the store and get something free!

Love is...Aggressive?!

Just recently, we all spent money and time on our loved ones to express how much they mean to us. During the recession, we may not have spent as much money, but we shared time and gave attention to that special loved one. What if Valentine's Day fell on the same day as the Superbowl?

That's the best I can equate Match Day to for the Brits and other Europeans due to their fanaticism for football (what we Americans know as soccer).

Love is many things but this type of love can only be defined as aggressive. I love the raw, real power and emotion behind their singing. It's Puma's Hard Chorus, and it's just a wonderful thing.

From TOTI: 9GAG!

I thought this was such a great (albeit time-blowing) website, that I would shamelessly grab it from the blog Today on the Interwebs. Below are two of my favorite pictures!

You really do see the fibonacci sequence in action all throughout nature's wonders!

Before you get divorced, read this!

And finally, what a brave and heroic save! Give that man a medal!

Michael Jackson Fail!

I don't care who you are; we all have a favorite Michael Jackson tune or two. I know the guy had some problems later on in his life and I will never forgive someone who takes advantage of children, but he had some good music. Especially before all the problems and weird medical stuff. This guy tries to reenact some of Jackson's dance moves and runs with it!
